Minister’s Discretionary Fund

The minister uses discretionary funds to support emergency needs of congregants and people in the community on occasion. If you have a need, please contact the minister. All requests are kept confidential. People outside our congregation have to complete an application form that the minister reviews. And then the minister will decide how much and how support is allocated.

The Minister’s Discretionary Fund is financed by donations from the congregation and during a special collection at the Christmas Eve Service. If you wish to donate to this fund, speak to the minister or send a check with a notation in the memo that you want your check to go to this fund.

Gifts to the First Universalist Church in Rockland are gratefully received and help to fund programs in the community and for our youth, keep the heat and lights on, employ high quality staff, and help us fund our ongoing church community.

You can make a one-time gift or sign up for recurring giving.

First Universalist Church in Rockland is a 501c3 non-profit and all donations are tax deductible.
