Current Activities: Services Schedule

Welcome! Services April/May 2008

We have two services on Sunday: 9:15 a.m and 11:00 a.m.
We are a Welcoming Congregation

April 26, 2008 - "The Techno Cosmic Mass" - 7:00 PM at Watt's Hall in Thomaston
The Techno Cosmic Mass is a revolutionary new form of worship that invokes the sacred into body, mind, heart and spirit. It blends Western liturgical tradition and Eastern and indigenous spiritual elements with multi-media imagery, ecstatic music and dance to create an interfaith, multi-cultural and intergenerational celebration.

April 27, 2008 - "For the Earth Forever Turning" - Led by Rev. Mark Glovin
This service will close our Earth Day Festival with a focus on water. We'll talk about water and bless our hands with water as we prepare ourselves to do healing work in our world and in our lives. This special service will include ritual and our choir and video. Come early and come often, come with open and welcoming hearts, we hope to have visitors coming to see what the buzz is about after the Cosmic Mass.

May 4, 2008 - "The Still Small Voice" - Led by Rev. Mark Glovin
Believe it or not, we do all have a guardian angel and it lives right inside our head. This service will look at our fallibility and the body's miraculous coping mechanisms. We'll see the importance of listening to the still small voice that steers us through life if we let it.

May 11, 2008 - "Idolizing Mother" - In honor of Earth Day - Led by Rev. Kate Braestrup

On May 18th we have our Annual Meeting after the 9:15 service which will be followed by a potluck lunch. We invite you to attend any and all events!

May 18, 2008 - "The Thin Places" - Led by Rev. Mark Glovin
Moving from despair to hope. Finding, naming and bestowing blessings. How do we do it? How do we find grace in our lives? In this service we will look for grace in our lives, searching for the thin places where the sacred pours into our world. We will only have one service this morning because of our Annual Meeting. We’ll enjoy coffee hour, then convene the meeting after which we will have a church wide lunch to celebrate this beloved community.

May 25, 2008 - "Where Have All The Flowers Gone?" - Led by Rev. Danielle Dibona
Today we will honor those who have given their lives for us and our country while examining how it is that in the 21st century we are mired in a hopeless war.
