Hannah Batley, Temporary Music Provider

Hannah Batley is thrilled to be filling in for the summer as the pianist in residence here at the First Universalist Church of Rockland. Hannah grew up singing in the choir here under the direction of Mimi Bornstein, and has been an active member of the midcoast musical community for most of her life. She has completed two years studying classical voice at the University of Toronto, School of Music and intends to pursue a career in the musical field.

Our music program extends to our adults, our youth and children, and our community. Our church choir is an open group, and we welcome new singers whenever they are ready to join us. Music is also a regular part of our Religious Education program, with our children sharing their music at services during the year.

The Music Director Search Committee is currently responsible for music programming and to obtain a permanent new Music and Choir Director for the church. If you would like further information concerning this committee, please contact the church office.
